Ten Reasons Why We Beat the CompetitionAt Team Everest, we do things just a little differently. After all, we came up with a unique hybrid model that plays by a slightly different set of rules. Depite the fact that our competitors might view us as a traditional network marketing company with a conglomeration of products and services, we beg to differ. While we certainly respect the heritage and ambition that many respectable industry giants in the direct sales world have created, we chose to improve upon the model by altering it to fit the needs of both the average consumer and competent leader in the 21st century.
Here are just ten challenges (in no particular order of importance) that we are able to overcome through our development of the Team Everest Online Wholesale Network…

1. Most products in the MLM industry are marked up to astronomically high levels (6-10 times on average) in order to pay out commissions. For example, a product that costs $5 to manufacture runs anywhere from $30 to $50.
At Team Everest, we keep the products and services as close to wholesale as possible. We pass the savings on to our members. As our membership base expands, our member prices will only get lower! Retail prices are kept to within reasonable limits as well so that people are encourage to buy from you—putting money in your pocket from both a “savings” and “earnings” perspective.

2. MLM companies are generally restricted to relatively low cost products (from a production standpoint) that are consumable in nature to encourage repeat ordering. Products that have a high manufacturing cost are often excluded because marking them up would put them out of reach of the average consumer. Likewise, products that can only be purchased once are entirely out of the picture.
At Team Everest, we can bring in products that don’t fit the standard network marketing model. While we do carry many products that compete with the industry (health and beauty products for example), we carry thousands of other higher-priced products that are considered just one-time purchases. In this respect, we have closer similarities to wholesale buying clubs.

3. The majority of MLM companies are one-product (or one-product line) companies. This goes back to the limitation of providing products that are cheap to produce, are consumable, and have a high “perceived” value. Unfortunately, this model opens itself up to considerable problems when a competing product comes along that claims superiority. It also excludes anyone who may not be interested in that niche.

At Team Everest, we realize that many people who are want their own home-based business are simply not interested in promoting lotions, potions, pills and powders. That is why we give our members several choices to pursue when setting up their O.W.N. business. Above all, our members get to choose what interests them most. They can choose from among several different products and services and they can switch them in and out as often as they desire. Our members have complete control over their O.W.N. business. They can even use our proprietary “My Business Portal” to promote their own private “offsite” business if they so desire.

4. Many MLM companies promote themselves (often indirectly) as “opportunity” companies rather than “product” companies. Let’s face it; many people join these companies because of the potential income they can generate not because of the over-priced products.
At Team Everest, the value of the monthly benefits and services is self-evident. People join because of the product value and benefits that we offer (which far surpass the average network marketing company). The opportunity to earn a healthy income is also there but it’s put in the proper overall perspective. You can always tell an “opportunity” company when they focus on the money and income potential first and foremost.

5. Many MLM companies “obligate” you to buy a significant amount of inventory to “advance” to the next level. This “inventory loading” requirement is impractical at best and sometimes borders on unethical.

At Team Everest, you are never required to purchase inventory… ever. We warehouse all the products for you and drop-ship them to you or your customers when you need them. We do send you a monthly allotment of our super-nutritional supplement powerhouse “Loaded X” just as a gentle reminder that Team Everest is there for you whenever you need us. While we believe Loaded X is one of the best supplements on the planet, we respect your right to pursue whatever element of the overall opportunity you desire.

6. Many MLM products are very hard to retail because of the extreme markup. This makes it impossible to make money on the retail side. Out of guilt, distributors often offer family and friends products at their “wholesale” cost, further reducing their chances for making a viable income.
At Team Everest, you buy at such low prices to begin with that there is often plenty of room to give your family and friends a “little discount” and still earn healthy profits. Soon you’ll find that your family and friends will want to join for true wholesale pricing and a myriad of other benefits.

7. Many MLM companies spend the bulk of training and recruiting pursuits focusing on “pie-in-the-sky” incomes, dreams and wish-lists, and showing images of exotic cars, mansions and remote beaches on tropical islands. Isn’t the hype a little much?
At Team Everest, we believe that while those dreams are certainly important, it’s also maybe a little more realistic to show people how to earn a good part-time income, get products and services at wholesale, earn tremendous tax breaks by owning your own business, and setting up their own online business with huge potential for substantial retail profits. We feel the hype is getting a little old. Let’s just go start a successful home-based business and have fun doing it!

8. Many MLM companies have non-compete clauses that prevent you from enjoying a free enterprise society. Violation of these clauses often results in commission losses or outright termination.

At Team Everest, we believe that you have control over your own destiny and life decisions, especially when it comes to how you provide for your family. We realize that in this fragile economy, people often need to turn to other income sources to bring in income. We don’t even care if you use your Team Everest “My Business Portal” website to promote your other MLM businesses. As long as you don’t recruit from within our membership base, we are happy to let you promote whatever product or company you wish through your customized website.

9. Most MLM companies must quickly get money into your pocket so that you don’t quit within the first couple months. This often undermines the effectiveness of the whole opportunity as well as the compensation plan long-term.
At Team Everest, we provide you with so many benefits and choices up front that it’s incredibly easy to save more than you spend each month. Regardless of whether you earn a penny in commissions, we have you covered all the way in several different areas. We also provide you with a generous “No Limits” compensation plan that has immediate up-front rewards and huge residual long-term potential as well. The reason why the turnover rate is so high in the industry should testify that most people join for the income opportunity and not for the product and when they don’t make an immediate income, they move on to the next thing. We’re not saying we’re immune from that happening also… we feel we’re just a little bit better prepared.
It’s also important to understand that if a company “front-loads” its down-line compensation plan by putting all the percentages in the first few rows, that leaves less money to be distributed later on when the rewards are potentially much greater due to the number of people in your organization.

10. Most MLM companies provide fantastical sounding compensation plans offering payouts in the high 50 and 60% range and even higher. What you don’t realize is they’re talking about “potential” only. We should all know by now that those monster payout percentages only happen on that grand scale when all the stars are aligned in a perfect-world scenario (and that’s probably another world outside our solar system).
At Team Everest, we know how the game is played. Normally, the actual amount within that promised percentage that doesn’t get paid out to the distributors is called “breakage” and the company just pockets it. Companies reason that this money is money that doesn’t belong to anyone since the distributors didn’t actually meet all their qualification levels. Poof—the money is gone!
We do things differently. We actually pay out 50% of the total money we receive each month in the form of the Summit Business Access fees ($99). And while we certainly have “breakage” too, we take that money and put it in a leadership pool to be paid out later. So that money does not end up in the company’s pocket—it gets recycled back to the distributors that are working hard. So while somebody may promise a 65% payout, the numbers probably are closer to half that. When we say 50%, we mean 50%--it’s our true payout!
